Zizzi Spring Menu Launch

One of the most exciting projects to work on at Zizzi is a new menu. Since Covid-19, the usual three menu turns a year have turned into eight as new dishes have been produced to drive sales and keep menu options fresh. This can be a very fun and challenging project to manage as we navigate adding new dishes to an already large menu whilst ensuring the customer journey is still enjoyable. For Zizzi's next menu launch, I proposed working alongside a freelancer to help us create a beautifully engaging cover design which adopted Zizzi's unique take on traditional Italian fare. Each Zizzi restaurant has beautiful interiors and hand painted wall murals which are inspired by heritage stories relating to the location of each site, and so I thought it would be a great idea work with one of the designers who painted one of the restaurants for the new menu cover. Alongside creating new menu designs, a menu launch needs beautiful photography to support this so that various POS can be created to promote the new dishes. I manage and art direct all photoshoots within the business and have helped to elevate the Zizzi photography by focusing more on creating lifestyle setups and telling a story with the layouts of each image.
